Sacred Significance of Kailash and Mansarovar

Mount Kailash is considered the spiritual epicenter of multiple faiths, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. Known as the "Axis Mundi" or the Center of the Universe, it is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva. Pilgrims journey here to seek spiritual purification and divine blessings.

Lake Mansarovar, a pristine and sacred body of water, is said to be formed by the mind of Lord Brahma. Pilgrims often perform ritual baths and pujas in its holy waters to cleanse their sins and bring spiritual enlightenment. Surrounded by eight Gompas, the lake also offers mesmerizing reflections of Mount Kailash on clear days.
